Spirits of the Forest

This is a game I made for Ludum Dare 56

I got to spend more time on programming than graphics or music so sorry for lack of sound and not the best art I’ve done.

As a witch that lives in the forest, you get approached by the Forest Guardian while you are out getting items.

They tell you that three spirits have been lost and they want you to find them. Each spirit will have you go through a series of tasks. If you fail their tasks enough times, you will have to start all over to find them. The path to find them is randomly generated each time you enter it so don’t go looking in the same place if you do need to start over again. You brew a potion for each spirit. Enter ‘E’ to use the potion. If you notice the trees getting thicker on the paths, then you are on the right track!

You can close out of the game at any time and when you start the game again, you will be right where you left off at. The game is windows and you should be able to scale it up and down without any issues.

Use ‘E’ to use potions. Only one potion per spirit. The blue swirls are the trust that the spirt has with you. When you fail tasks, the trust goes down. Use mouse to click on path, you can also click on the path for where you just came from.
